Andy Mowat joins Alpha as MD, Australia

We are excited to announce that Andy Mowat has joined us as Managing Director of our new Australia office, due to be launched later this year.

Andy joins us with over 15 years’ leadership experience in FX Risk Management, five of which have been in Australia. He will now lead our expansion from our office in Sydney alongside two of our existing Senior Partners from our UK and Toronto offices, Alexander MacDonald and Ryan Mitchell.

We’re hugely excited for Andy, Alex, and Ryan to be spearheading this next stage in our company’s journey and are looking forward to what the team can bring to the Australian market.

Speaking on his appointment, Andy said: “The quality of Alpha’s offering and client-focused culture is something that is very well known to me from working within the industry. It is a company I have admired for a long time, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to be able to work with the team to bring the Alpha brand down under!”
